THE SOUTH AFRICAN CONSUMER CO-OPERATIVE IS GOVERNED BY AN ADVISORY COUNCIL COMPRISED OF PEOPLE WHO WERE SPECIFICALLY SELECTED TO OVERSEE THE DAY TO DAY FUNCTIONS OF THE CO-OPERATIVE AS WELL AS TO PROVIDE A THINK TANK FOR POLICY, FUTURE DEVELOPMENT AND THE DISTRIBUTION OR ALLOCATION OF FUNDS TO SELECTED NON GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS FROM TIME TO TIME.
THE COUNCIL OPERATES ON DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLES WITH A MAJORITY VOTE FROM A REPRESENTATIVE QUORUM BEING A REQUIREMENT IN EVERY DECISION MADE ON BEHALF OF S.A.C.C AND IT'S MEMBERS.
COUNCIL MEMBERS:
| Mr. Harry S Heydon is the founder member of S.A.C.C. and is a twice awarded recipient of NEDBANK'S Local Hero award. (On and off line job creation) With many decades of business experience and with a large proportion of this in consumer benefits, He currently serves as Chairperson |
| Mr Mark Hofmeyr is an experienced businessman with several decades of experience in various disciplines including construction and MLM systems. He is an accomplished public speaker and councilor with a heart to help people improve their lives in every area |
| Mr Peter Hofmeyr has considerable experience in marketing and MLM in particular. He has many years of experience in a number of business and management areas. As with all our council members, he has a passion to help people attain a better lifestyle and to direct funds to NGO's that provide upliftment to people. |
| Regina Gounden, formerly (A major Bank) Regional SBS Manager for Gauteng Central, has been appointed as Regional Manager for the Gauteng Central Region. Regina has been with the bank for 26 years and holds a B.Comm degree from University of Pretoria and a CAIB accreditation with the Institute of Bankers. She also holds many other certificates and diploma’s in finance and marketing. |
| Milton Monaheng studied electronics at Kudube manpower and later at UNISA where he studied physical electronics. Formerly Head of support at Centurion Systems he now owns and is CEO of Integral Security Systems. He has also studied Business English, Customer Service and Business Management in order to hone his customer relations and Business skills. |
